SAC (School Advisory Council)
In the Archdiocese of Portland, all school councils are advisory in nature. SAC participates in decisionmaking by formulating and recommending, but never enacting policy. The St. Pius X School Advisory Council is a body whose members are selected to participate in decision making in designated areas of responsibility. These areas include strategic planning, policy formulation, finances, development, including public relations, marketing and evaluation. Council members also include the principal and pastor. Please call any council members with ideas or concerns. Parents are welcome to attend general SAC meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Executive sessions are limited to members of SAC.
